Let Your Fire Fall

Lord, I come into your presence-I'm desperate for You!
Mold me, Lord, into Your likeness-so pure and so true!

Take me now, come wash me over,
Make me more like You!

Let Your fire fall on me, Your blood wash over me,
Holy Spirit fall!
Take my heart and make it new, strength to live for You,
Let Your fire fall on me!

Let Your fire fall, purify my soul,
Cleanse me from my sin, Spirit, dwell within!


This is my prayer for my life at the moment, particularly heading into the Agressive Christianity conference this weekend. It's going to be a Spirit filled time and I already feel my hugner for God growing inside. God created me to need Him and to feel empty without Him-which makes it all the more glorious when he fills me! I am expectant for what God will teach me over the coming days and I am praying that the Spirit will turn up the conviction ehat so that all the impurities in my life rise to the surface. When they become exposed, I can surrender them and God is faithful to provide His purifying fire. Bring it on!
